Never nearer deary than right now hear me wield the hyperbolic mystery
Never closer than when you're gone
Getting off: why you got on
Start your day at dusk not dawn
Never nearer deary than now we're severed permanently, two worlds turning free.
Two fires burning to be the brightest.
Attracted by the glare
distracted by the air
It's always hard to breath when we burn oxygen right up.
Never nearer deary than when we see clearly what burns me
confirms that I have vices
that encourage me
wrapped as mummy well preserved
it's not wrong until the judgment's served
It's not bad for me
It's just desert
It wasn't my fault
if we both got hurt.

So here I was just wiggling my toes in some acidic water. I just wanted to wet my feet, and I still can't find my damn toes. It's very frustrating, but there's a crazy satisfaction I get when someone goes "sorry didn't mean to step on your toes." I just kind of get a silly grin on my face, 'cause he can't step on any toes of mine! |

Today the only moment I'm living in
Safe from destruction
Safe from 2008
I get what I want
but it's been getting away lately |

That argument we had was the final straw
when I saw that homeless man we pass on our walks
I realized since my love was dead
If he needed a home he could sleep in my bed

You out there looking for yourself
Don't lose yourself
You know you're already not like the rest of us
You may have been the best of us
But you've had better days and better luck
Don't get lost like the rest of us
I know you need the answers
I know you're overwhelmed
Put one foot in front of the other
to get back to the helm |
